Sautéed Asparagus with Lemon


  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 lbs asparagus, trimmed
  • 4 strips lemon zest
  • Juice from ½ a lemon
  • Coarse salt & ground pepper



  1. Heat oil in a large skillet.
  2. Add asparagus and season with salt & Pepper.
  3. Cook, tossing occasionally, until crisp tender.
  4. Add lemon zest and cook 1 minute.
  5. Add lemon juice, toss to coat, and serve warm.
