Easy Roasted Broccoli


  • 1-2 heads of broccoli
    cut into florets, some with longer stems
  • 3–5 tbsp of olive oil
  • Pinch of salt and pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 425
  2. Cut broccoli into florets, leaving some with longer stems
  3. Place the broccoli in a mixing bowl and coat with olive oil by drizzling the oil over the top of the broccoli and then toss together. Start with 3 tbsp and add up to 2 more if needed. 
  4. Once coated, place the broccoli on a baking sheet and sprinkle with a dash of salt and pepper. 
  5. Place in the oven and cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping the broccoli halfway through. Add 5 additional minutes if you like your broccoli a bit more charred.
