Ingredients
- 8 cups Unpeeled cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1 cup Onion, sliced
- 3 tbsp Canning salt
- 2 ½ cup Vinegar
- 3 ½ cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Tumeric
- 1 tsp Mustard Seed
- 1 tsp Celery Seed
Directions
- Combine first 3 ingredients, let stand 2 hours or overnight.
- Rinse and Drain.
- Bring last 5 ingredients to a boil.
- In a large bowl, pour boiling liquid over rinsed cucumbers and onions, let cool.
- Store in an ice cream pail, or in canning jars with lids.
- Place in refrigerator.
