Homemade Apple Sauce


  • 8 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the apples, water, sugar and cinnamon. Cover and cook over medium heat until apples are soft, about 25-30 minutes. 
  2. Allow mixture to cool slightly, and then begin to mash the apples with a fork or potato masher. You can also place the mixture in a blender or food processor to speed up the process. Mix until it is a consistency you enjoy.
