Cranberry Applesauce

  • ¼ cup -Water
  • 8 cups -Sliced, peeled cooking apples (ie. Fireside, Sweet Sixteen, Haralson)
  • 2 cups -Sugar

  1. In a large pot, simmer cranberries & water for 20-25 minutes, or until cranberries burst.
  2. Add apples, cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes until desired texture is achieved. The longer you cook the apples, the more smooth the texture.
