Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cups cauliflower florets
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- ½ cup salted sunflower seeds
- ½ small red onion, diced finely
- 8 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
- ½ cup raisins or Craisins (optional)
- 1 cup Hellman’s mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the following: broccoli, cauliflower, cheddar cheese, sunflower seeds, red onion, crumbled bacon, raisins. Mix together.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, vinegars, salt and pepper to create the dressing. Whisk until smooth and not lumpy.
- Pour the dressing over the broccoli and cauliflower mixture, tossing it several times to ensure everything is coated.
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours before serving. Toss the salad again prior to serving!
