Broccoli Salad

Serves: 6-8



  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup salted sunflower seeds
  • ½ small red onion, diced finely
  • 8 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
  • ½ cup raisins or Craisins (optional)
  • 1 cup Hellman’s mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper


  1. In a large bowl, combine the following: broccoli, cauliflower, cheddar cheese, sunflower seeds, red onion, crumbled bacon, raisins. Mix together. 
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayo, vinegars, salt and pepper to create the dressing. Whisk until smooth and not lumpy. 
  3. Pour the dressing over the broccoli and cauliflower mixture, tossing it several times to ensure everything is coated. 
  4. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours before serving. Toss the salad again prior to serving!
