Chub Cucumbers

Chub cucumbers have thin, lighter skin and are smaller than slicing cucumbers. With their very thin skin, there's no need to peel them before eating.

They are wonderful for pickling, but also excellent for snacking or salads. They're grown on a trellis, so they never touch the ground. As a result, you won’t find them gritty at all.

Sold at farm stands by the pound. Look for firm, bright green skin. If they feel a little "prickly," that’s a good sign. It means they were just picked! Typically in season from mid-June through October.

Chub cucumbers are available for bulk preorder by the quarter bushel or half bushel. You can even special order by size!

When this product is in season, it can be purchased at Untiedt's Farm Stands. We harvest by hand and deliver to our Farm Stands daily.

Availability is dependent on weather conditions and overall supply. Not all products are available on all days at all Farm Stand locations.
