A quick and easy way to serve up a healthy green in under 30 minutes. A perfect side dish or use as the base of a warm winter salad.


  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp garlic salt (less if desired)


  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Wash and dry the bunch of kale, remove the stems and either chop or tear the kale leaves into smaller pieces and place on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the leaves and massage very well with your hands. The more you massage the kale, the more tender it becomes.
  4. Once the kale is massaged with olive oil, sprinkle it with garlic powder and garlic salt. Mix together one more time.
  5. Place in oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes until the kale is cooked to your desired crispiness.
